Ryan is a director from Los Angeles, California. Originally from Florida, Ryan has directed music videos for artists such as Cut Copy, Miike Snow, 2 Chainz, B.o.B., Wiz Khalifa, Tesla Boy, and The Weeknd as well as commercials for brands such as Nissan, BBC, Microsoft, HP, Carnival Cruise Lines, Orange, Henkel, and Coralatex. A two-time nominee of the Cannes Young Director Award, Ryan’s films have screened all over the world at festivals such as SXSW, The Berlin Music Video Awards, and CLIPPED.
His latest narrative short, Gremlins: Recall, was a re-boot of the 80’s classic Gremlins and was picked up by Short of the Week, Slash Film, CNET, Vice, Bloody Disgusting, and Booooooom, among others.
He loves shooting cinematic comedy as well as anything to do with choreography.
