Eike started shooting photos early on in his life during his school days. With access to his mom’s SLR, he went out to shoot his first images, discovering the art of black and white photography. Soon after, while doing his civil service he would spend most of his nights in a small darkroom, developing his own b/w- prints.
Finishing successful his apprenticeship as a photographer, it was very clear: this bond for cameras and lighting will last forever. Over a few more years, Eike extended his knowledge for postproduction on photos as well as crafting films when he joined a production-company in Hamburg, which also set the stage for his career as a director of photography.
Until today Eike is passionate about being a creator by heart, realising creative concepts as a multi-discipline-trained craftsman.
